Stuck in Baltic? This is the place to eat. Nice people, pretty good food. if you want to watch TV, there's two.
The food was good, not great. The service was choppy, our waitress left the restaurant for about 25 minutes.. Prices were far too high for mostly standard breakfast items. The two standouts were, the biscuits and gravy are deliciously spicy, and blueberry & banana pancakes is really an amazing pair!
Lunch meals were excellent! Reubens & salads were tasty & decent portions. Fries, & creamy garlic dressing, were yummy! Waitress was very nice, and the decor was 'rustic' but clean & comfortable.
Bottled Guinness was a bit flat, & other than Corona, just basic domestic choices really (Did have 2 Sam Adams).
Friday fish and chips are very very good.... I usually get the fish and sweet potato fries... Quick and pleasant service
I will definitely go again. I heard the sizzling steak is really good.
Great soups, delicious fare, friendly environment, always decorated nicely for the holidays. The building itself is a little run down looking (ie the ramp needs painting.) Inside it could use more lighting.
